Coral Bracelet with Sterling Silver

The delicate sterling silver mesh beads in this bracelet contrast beautifully with the fabulous bold red of the coral beads. A pretty bracelet beautiful when worn on its own or ideal for stacking with other bracelets.\r\n\r\nThe silver beads and clasp are all sterling silver.\r\n\r\nThe coral is dyed and has been sourced from deep water corals rather than \'reef building\' corals. Whilst these corals do still provide a habitat for marine life they are very abundant and legally harvested.

Katherine Webber

I am jewellery designer/maker living and working in Southsea, Hampshire. I have always enjoyed the arts and crafts and spent many years working with textiles in my spare time whilst pursuing a career in teaching languages. However a birthday present of a few glass beads and some wire several years ago opened the doors to a new creative interest.Commissions from friends and family quickly followed and I was finally able to leave my full time teaching post in 2007 in order to focus more on my jewellery. I now work part time as a Learning Officer at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard alongside developing my jewellery business.Since 2007 I have exhibited and sold my work at a variety of specialist art and craft fairs and in independent shops and galleries. I have become very involved in promoting quality and individual craft and design by local artists and designer/makers. I am one of the founder members of ‘Crafts in the Tower’, a monthly art and craft market that takes place in the Square Tower, Old Portsmouth ( a fifteenth century naval fortification built by Henry VII). Our objective is to promote the work of local designer/makers and artists and develop an appreciation and interest in unique and high quality art, craft and design.
