Went here one night after the boat show - most other places were full but they staff squeezed us in here and were glad! Great food, we had the duck and pizza, both were great, average prices you expected to pay near the city centre, staff were amazing, in particular a younger lady who couldn't of been nicer!Close walking distance to our hotel at the time. great views of older building and clock tower and 2 mins away from theatre!Would recommend and go again!
Not much of a reviewer but i thought i should share this one as this place is a little gem and deserves some praise. this was the 3rd time ive taken my office peeps to buon gusto and last nights meal was just fantastic. monkfish wrapped in parma ham looked and tasted amazing, the steak was sumptuous and the salmon linguini was another dish getting high praise. there were 7 of us, the restaraunt was busy but there was no comprimise on food or service which for me is a sign of a well run ship. the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and service was prompt and chirpy.an excellent time was had by all. thanks guys...
My partner and I visited the restaurant last Friday and was very impressed. We were greeted by the friendly Manager who showed us to our table. We ordered a bottle of Pinot blush which was lovely. For starters we ordered the carpaccio and goats cheese bruschetta which we shared. Both were really delicious and very well presented. For main course I had the Chicken milanese, it was really tender and juicy. My partner has the slow cooked lamb and he said it was really 'melt in the mouth'. Both very served with potato dauphinoise which worked really well. The manager and waitresses very all very friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the place also looked great, I think they have just decorated. Will be going back!
