Having painted since I was a teenager I finally did an art degree at Winchester School of Art in 2002-2006 staying onto do an MA Fine Art by project 2006-8. I only recently set up my portrait business having worked in administration for most of my career I wanted to pursue and enjoy my passion of the arts and being best placed within countryside pursuits, horses being my other passion, it seemed the right pathway. However I will still be finding time to create from within some site specific work and look forward to developing some new work along side my commissions.

Sue's business, Animal Magic Art, uses a traditional style of drawing and painting portraits of animals or quick ipad sketches, corporate portraits of a treasured pet, Animal Magic or barking mad you choose!
Sue’s site specific work investigates space through careful research of a space using a variety of media; video, sound, painting, photography or objects that relate. When working site specifically Sue responds to a space, but also allows for a deliberate blurring of conventional boundaries.

Sue did the outstanding picture of my chestnut horse competing at dressage, The photo I liked had me competing in a different jacket and Sue had to change this to my Royal Navy uniform, as I really wanted something different and something to treasure through the years. I got Sue to paint Oscar for mum as a joint Xmas-birthday gift, her birthday being January 26th. Mum was so, so happy with it.... sadly Oscar never made it till her birthday and we lost him the week before to a massive stroke. We have been and still are grieving for him, but needless to say your painting is now priceless and absolutely cherished. I think Mum talks to it everyday!! Thanks again for such a special painting.
