Rachel Drewer designs and makes couture hats from her studio in rural Hampshire for ladies attending smart occasions such as weddings, horseraces, and Christenings.
A new name in millinery, Rachel is fast gaining a reputation for designing beautiful headwear that is both uniquely stylish and eminently wearable.
Prior to realising her dream of becoming a milliner, Rachel gained a degree in Physics and worked in the City’s emerging carbon markets. In 2010 Rachel left her corporate career to study the art of millinery with some of the world’s finest designers, including those who have worked for Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Rachel holds an HNC in Millinery Design from Kensington & Chelsea College, London.
To date, Rachel’s millinery has featured on the British Vogue website, in The Mail on Sunday’s YOU Magazine and on wedding blogs Love My Dress and Pearl Lowe. Rachel has also given radio interviews for the BBC on the subject of racing fashion.
In addition to her couture work, Rachel shares her expertise through millinery workshops, hat parties, and talks.
When not designing hats, Rachel can be found exploring the Hampshire countryside with her black Labrador, Frank.
