Brick by Brick Theatre Company formed in 2007 by Jo Russel, the company has been steadily growing year on year.
Having spent years creating theatre nationally and internationally, Jo thought it was about time we put the South Cost on the cultural map!
In 2008 Sophie McDonald came on board and helped solidify the company and move it forward. Sadly Sophie left for pastures new and now runs her own exciting company in London.
By 2009 Tasha Hancock joined as a casual producer of our stage productions and adapt classic novels into working scripts. Tasha has a varied creative background and is dedicated to making things happen.
Also in 2009 Rob Praine became an integral casual member of the team. Directing, assisting and managing many of our live performance events. With his concrete background in event management he is worth his weight in gold.
2010 saw Luke Whitmore become our IT guru and website designer. Helping us with setting up social media. Now having a Facebook and Twitter accounts. The website is still to follow.
In 2011 we lunched our costume hire service. Having already started hiring out some of our amazing costumes, we thought this was a natural progression.

Brick by Brick Theatre Company promotes, educates, entertains and supports theatrical and visual arts in the community. Our not-for profit company provides value for money creative theatre for a wide range of audiences.

Historical Actor

Providing costumed actors in quality costumes to interact with the public. Actors talk the the first person.

Playwright

Writing bespoke theatre scripts for companies or events.

Vintage Fashion

We can supply a costume designer for films and photo shoots. This will include sourcing costumes and dressing the actors and models.

Birthday Parties

Brick By Brick can offer a themed party of your choice. Parties last an hour and a half. Popular themes include: Piartes, Fairies, Tudors, Victorians, Dance and Drama, Theatre Sports.

Education

We can offer an actor in a costume to comeinto your school or museum or historic house. We are also working on theatre in education projects.

Workshops

We offer drama workshops such as Shakespeare for STATS.
