If you are fascinated by the Tudors or enjoy watching Versailles, come along to this roundtable style talk to hear more about intrigue, love and (political) rivalry at the English and French courts during the Renaissance. Noted academics Dr Carole Levin, Dr Joanne Paul, Dr Estelle Paranque and Dr Jonathan Spangler along with best-selling author Nicola Tallis will share their fascinating research on royal favourites and mistresses in the Tudor, Valois and Bourbon courts.
A unique, enchanting open-air event, Petersfield Shakespeare Festival runs from 18-29 July and presents two plays: an exhilarating production of HENRY V, set in 1918 to coincide with the anniversary of the end of World War 1.
