An exhibition bringing together marine-themed works from the outstanding collection of Southampton City Art Gallery to celebrate the shores of the south we inhabit. This eclectic selection of paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries, includes works by Richard Eurich, Spencer Gore and C.R.W. Nevinson.
The region’s long and varied relationship with the sea is reflected through these charming and historic works and includes rarely seen works conserved especially for the exhibition.

Major artists from the 20th century are represented in this outstanding private collection of works, left as a bequest to Southampton City Art Gallery.
