Eileen trained at Goldsmith's College, London and has also worked in industry as a designer and buyer.Her framed works which are for sale on line and in galleries, are individually made layered papercuts. She is currently producing work using print and stitching for an exhibition to mark the bicentenary of "Pride and Prejudice' at the Jane Austen Museum in Alton.Other recent projects have included creating designs for Waterlooville children's library, The Pheonix Theatre in Bordon as well as exhibitions at Mottisfont, The Point Theatre and recently working with Hampshire FE Colleges on a project with Aspex Gallery in Portsmouth.

Eileen White is a craft-based visual artist. She uses hand cut and painted paper as her medium. Her work includes making site-specific installations, producing design solutions for location and client-focused commissions and working in educational contexts with schools, communities, professionals and the public; In addition she researches and interprets sites, runs creative workshops and produces conclusions to projects which help to make places more accessible to wider audiences.

All my work is bespoke and can be commissioned for individual clients. Each piece from my portfolio has been made by hand and is therefore unique.

I lead workshops, for community groups, children, secondary, primary, Further Education Colleges and Universities. I am currently working at Cumberland House Museum as part of Portsmouth City Council's refurbishment, with local primary schools.

I am currently exhibiting new work at a show called 'Impressions' at the Jane Austen House Museum in Chawton, Hampshire. The exhibition marks the bicentenary of the publication of "Pride and Prejudice'. This is one of the works that is on show there. I have used a variety of printing methods to produce a hand finished print. "we are all fools in love' was created using intaglio and relief printing processes. Each individual print is hand finished, with a hand drawn pattern and papercut.
