I worked as a PSHE and Citizenship teacher for a number of years in a local secondary school but craved some time to become creative and started doing courses in local colleges to better myself. From this a chance encounter with a music teacher opened up my creative avenue to working with girls with BESD and EBD. Because it was part time, I had plenty of time to explore my own creativity and I love most crafts, having recently completed a lampwork beading course. This creativity comes from my very talented mother, who is an award winning jeweller. We love dipping in and out of crafts, we love nothing more than exploring new and exciting crafts.I am a qualified arts award adviser and will be using those skills in the near future.
I am a freelance art, craft and textile teacher at an EBD school in Southampton, I also run my own business and run evening courses for adults and children. I love illustration, sewing and photography. i have recently qualified as an arts award adviser.
