DiElle’s acoustic show with John Gleadall and Chris Wood is an honest celebration of the joys of acoustic music. Indulging in acoustic hit songs through the ages, the show includes songs from classic songwriters such as the Eagles, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, The Beatles and The Hollies, and the next generation of artists they have influenced such as Crowded House and Snow Patrol.
This January, from a galaxy far, far away, an unmissable exhibition for Star Wars fans everywhere comes to Basingstoke. From X-Wing fighters to lightsabers, May The Toys Be With You is one of the UK’s finest collections of vintage Star Wars toys and original cinema posters. These fantastical designs became the playthings of a generation, and have fired our imaginations and stamped their place on our cultural landscape since the first film was released forty years ago.
Gerald Scarfe is the UK’s most prominent political cartoonist, known for his acerbic and uncompromising satire – his work has appeared in The Sunday Times for 50 years. Scarfe’s unmistakable characters and worlds have also been given life on stage and screen. From Pink Floyd’s The Wall (1979) to English National Ballet’s The Nutcracker (2002), this is the first UK touring exhibition to explore his extensive work in film, opera and ballet design.

Chris Difford is a rare breed. As a recording artist, Boo Hewerdine’s first tentative steps came with the band, The Great Divide before the formation of his much-loved eighties group The Bible.
A new duo that brings together two of the UK's foremost folk and jazz artists, a sparse and emotive exploration of contemporary folk music formed by multi award winning Scottish fiddler - composer Aidan O’Rourke (Lau / Kan / Blazin Fiddles) and Mercury Music Prize nominated, BBC Jazz Award Winner harmonium and piano player, Kit Downes (ECM Records).

Mike Grogan
It’s hard to pin Mike Grogan’s music down into a single genre, as it touches many such as roots, folk, rock, country. But, above all, he writes songs with meaning and emotional impact encapsulating the basics and the complexities of the human condition.
This historical drama details the relationship between children’s author A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin, which was changed forever when Milne used his child and his stuffed animals as inspirations for the Winnie the Pooh stories. As the fanciful tales bring hope to England in the wake of World War I, the family deal with fame and unwanted attention.
Tickets available at the door. Price includes a tea or coffee and a small treat. Doors open at 7pm.

Join us for a weekend of Civil War living history when re-enactors from the Sealed Knot society join us to interpret the site from Sat 31 March - Mon 2 April. Refreshments, including hot drinks, cakes and snacks, will be available to purchase in the Great Barn, where a bar will also be open.
